Good morning,
I'd love to check out that St. Louis shop next trip to STL.Sounds like fun. I always stop at Straub's for a mini=gooey butter cake. There's one in the central west end.
Today we are going to check out another place we might want to rent for the store. It's slightly bigger but already finished and it's really cute! More on this later. I hope we'll know today if the landlord is interested. This one kept us awake last night thinking, thinking, thinking!
Have a great day and enjoy the beautiful weather!

Happy Saturday.
Carla, Ray Bans are great! We all deserve to indudge in stuff.
Crystal, you are so right. The only way to go forward, is not to look back. Also, before you started dating Chris, you were looking around. Someone else is looking for you.
Lisa, we did get to Soulard yesterday. Love it as ususal.
Connie, I finally got so black licorice, Switzers, of course. There is a shop in Soulard called, "Made in St. Louis". About the only thing they don't carry is Goody Butter Cake.
We had a nice evening on Thursday with best friend Linda and her chef son. We went to Red Lobster, and then the guys both went home, and she and I went to a friends house to surprise her. A great visit, but I didn't get back to the hotel until after midnight. Then Friday we started off with breakfast with a group of my high school friends, We got home abut 6:30 last night.
Today I want to get some plants in, finalize the clothes I want to take on the cruise, do some errands and pick up the house. We will see what gets done.
Have a great day,
Hugs
Hello everyone
Work was good....both bosses were gone!!! But it was a longgggg day!!!!
I just got back from running errands and doing some shopping after work. I picked up some Chipotle too.
Lets see I took more steps to separate myself from Chris. I deleted everything off my phone that had to do with him....phone#, texts, photos....I had to I kept going back and torturing myself and reading old texts or looking at pictures. It was a really hard thing for me to do. I felt like I was erasing a part of my self...but like I said if I want to move forward I have to stop looking backward. This will help with that. I sent him a letter with a self addressed envelope with a stamp asking him to mail back my keys. I could just go over and ask for them but I really don't want to see him face to face right now. And that's it....except for what's in my mind...he is eradicated from my life. And quite frankly I am doing OK....I mean there are moments I get lost in my thoughts of how things used to be....but I am mostly looking forward to a time when I am happily living without him.
This weekend I have busied myself with some fun activities and I am looking forward to that.
Well I am going eat my dinner...have a nice evening all.
Hi where is everyone? It is the evening upon us! I bit the band and baught myself a pair of Ray Ban Sun glasses! They fit over my new glasses! I like a them! The sun down here is brutal for driving!
Hope you all are having a great day!
Carla
Lisa, yes, it is Soulard. I am from St. Louis, and that has always been one of my favorite areas. When we were going together, before my hubby decided to come back home, that was one of the areas we were looking in to live.
Crystal, that looks like a good place to go.
hugs,
Howdy everyone!!
Lisa, is it Soulard that you will be going to? If so, I LOVE that place!!! We lived in the St. Louis area for 5 years and enjoyed going to Soulard.
Crystal, sounds like you have a fun weekend planned.
We have Monkey's 7th birthday party on Saturday. She is my youngest. She has been counting down the days for 2 weeks now. We are cooking Italian beef and Italian sausage. She is doing a Dr. Seuss theme. We are looking forward to it.
I'm trying to get better at logging my food on myfitnesspal. I'm pretty good when I'm at work, it's when I'm home I start to slack off!
I am really looking forward to next month and more appointments to move this process along. I will be so happy when I get a surgery date!
Have a great day everyone!!
Lisa
Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!
I am up and getting a few things done before my meeting. Then, I will pick up Liv's Graduation Party invites and bring them home so that the announcements and invites can be sent out. What an exciting time! I will sure miss her when she is gone. I have not completely given up on the idea of following her.....we will see.
Crystal, that dinner sounds fun! Take time off when you can, you will thank yourself later.
Tonight is Preview Night for Liv's last high school play. Amber and I will be going tonight, which will make it a late night for me. I saw one scene in rehearsal a couple of weeks ago and I was NOT impressed. Let's hope the rest of the scenes are better. Either way...she will ROCK it, she always does!
I am hoping for a good rain because our power in our garage went out a couple of weeks ago. Turns out, the power supply from the house to the garage (underground) had a short. Todd had to remove the old wire and dig trenches for the new wire. My driveway and sidewalk have residual dirt all over them and I am hoping a good rain will not only wash the concrete, but settle the soil so some can be added and then seeded.
Everyone have a great day!
Good Morning,
Crystal, info on that dinner please. Is it a one time thing or does it go on all the time.We went to one at Sea World years ago, it was a great evening.
Connie, what is the address of your shop going to be?
I have color on my hair, you know we can't let the gray show. We are meeting my best friend for dinner tonight in O'Fallon, then in the morning we will be meeting a group of my high school friends for breakfast at Golden Corral. Then we be heading out to St. Louis County to see my cousin. We may hit the farmers market in the morning too. Then, we will head home, since Hubert has to work on Saturday.
Other then that, everything is great.
Remeber, you can't get ahead if you are stuck in the past.
Hugs,
